Besch Design Concepts, Ltd. came together in 2006 when Steve Besch reorganized his prior company and teamed up with his wife, Susan to add the interiors aspect to his architecture firm. The two of them had worked together on a select number of jobs over the previous years while working at other firms with great success. It was only a matter of time that they would bring the collaboration of their experience, talent and knowledge under one roof to offer clients all aspects of design!

Steven. P. Besch

Steve has been practicing full service architecture for more than eighteen years and coordinates all aspects of a project, from the design inception, to the completion of the structure. Steve has a Masters of Architecture from the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and is licensed in the states of Illinois and Wisconsin. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Association of Licensed Architects.

Steve is a Registered Energy Professional and a Self Certified Architect with the City of Chicago. As an integral part of the Sauganash Design Committee, established by Alderman Laurino, he collaborated in the development and publication of the “Sauganash Workbook-A Guide for Building and Renovating in Sauganash”. Steve was an essential member in creating the first design guide of its kind in the city of Chicago.

Susan L. Besch
Founder / Principal

Susan is has practiced Interior Designer for more than twenty years. Graduating from the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee with a Bachelors of Science in Architecture, Susan has extensive experience in all aspects of interiors including furniture design and coordination, interior space planning and construction supervision. Unique in her trade, is her ability to comprehend and develop interior architectural details.
